Treasure and trash in the mud

Thursday, 14 September, 19:00-20:00

Rue Belliard 135, 1000 Brussels & Livestreamed here

In the mud of riverbeds and foreshores, people find both treasure and trash. Their findings often tell past tales, bring forgotten people to life, and uncover hidden stories. Lara Maiklem began to mudlark on the tidal banks of the River Thames and she will speak about mudlarking at an event at the House of European History. This event is part of a series of expert talks on waste co-organized with museums around Europe. Find out more and register.
